Lawrence Public Schools will be closed today, Friday, January 10, 2025.

All school activities are canceled and all district buildings will be closed for the day. Only staff with essential tasks need to report to work, in consultation with their supervisor.

We apologize that the timing of this weather event was not conducive to an earlier determination and announcement. As always, this decision was made in the interest of the safety of students, staff, and our school families.

We hope for a full week of learning together in school next week. In the meantime, enjoy your long weekend. Stay safe and warm.
