Three Inmates Escape Lansing



Authorities say they are searching  for three minimum custody inmates who escaped from the Lansing Correctional Facility. According to the Kansas Department of Corrections, the escapes were confirmed at about 7:40am Friday morning and the inmates were declared on escape status from the minimum unit at Lansing.

Authorities are looking for:


31-year-old Allen M. Hurst
5'9'', Caucasian male, 220lbs, blue eyes, brown hair
2010 conviction for multiple counts burglary and theft in Sedwick County


49-year-old Scott A. Gilbert
6'2'', Caucasian male, 231lbs, brown eyes, brown hair
2010 conviction for multiple counts burglary and theft in Sedwick County


57-year-old Randy A. Ridens, Sr.
5'11'', Caucasian male, 230lbs, brown eyes, brown hair
2010 conviction for multiple counts burglary and one count theft in Shawnee and Douglas County


Authorities say all escapees are considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has information pertaining to the whereabouts of Allen Hurst, Scott Gilbert, and/or Randy Ridens, Sr., please call 911, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-572-7463 or Lansing Correctional Facility at 913-727-3235.
