A small stretch of Massachusetts Street will be temporarily closed in downtown starting next week, so the city can install a fire sprinkler line. According to city officials, the northbound lane of Massachusetts between 9th Street and 10th Street will be closed beginning Monday, January 7. Traffic control devices will be set up to close the northbound lane of Mass within the 900 block.
The southbound lane of Mass will remain open through the utility work period.
The fire line installation and lane closure is expected to last until Thursday, January 10.
