Health Department Launches New Website Design

The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department has redesigned its website in an effort to create better navigation of their programs and services. Officials say it's their first website makeover since being launched in 2008.

The website, ldchealth.org, is now accessible on mobile devices and features a new menu for navigation. The front page of the website includes current health news for the public, health tips, events calendar, an in-depth reports and stories.

The website was redesigned locally by the Lawrence-based Tiny Shiny Objects.
