Eudora Preps for 4A State Title Game

It's been under the lights on Fridays all season long, but now high school football in Kansas moves to the Saturday stage, where state title games across the state will crown 2012 champions this weekend.

In Class 4A, Eudora High School (12-1) will go up against undefeated Holton High (13-0) this Saturday afternoon.

Eudora's playoff path has included wins against De Soto, Tonganoxie, Louisburg, and KC Piper.

Holton's playoff wins include Hesston, Wichita Collegiate, McPherson, and Mulvane.

The 4A State Title Game between Eudora and Holton is scheduled for Saturday, November 24, 1PM, at Salina District Stadium in Salina. The game can also be heard on 1320 KLWN.

According to the USD 491 Eudora Schools website, a Saturday morning send-off is scheduled for 7:20am at the Eudora High School parking lot. The public is invited to come cheer the Cardinals as they head out to Salina for their championship game. A post-game welcome for the team is tentatively scheduled for around 9pm Saturday, depending on the team's arrival time back home.
