K-U seniors who are getting set to graduate in the next few months have been worried about their prospects of finding any job -- much less, a job in their field of study -- after they complete their education. Some new good news from the K-U Career Center is providing at least some with the hope that employment might be available, despite constant reports of unemployment among recent college grads. The National Association of Colleges and Employers says there's been a noticeable drop in the unemployment rate for bachelors degree holders between the ages of twenty and twenty-four: from 8.3 percent in September down to only 6.2 percent last month. To put that in perspective, back in July over thirteen percent of new college graduates could not find a job.
