The University of Kansas is buying pornography websites.

It’s all an effort to protect the good name of KU… Instead of dot com or dot org, a new internet domain address being launched specifically for pornography is getting the address dot xxx. So the school is out to protect its trademarks, like jayhawks or KU and keeping them from getting the xxx tag in public. 6 News reports KU has already purchased seven site names, and will most likely hold onto them for at least ten years, to keep others from getting at them.
