Thousands of coats are going to be given away today and tomorrow in Lawrence.

The Scotch Share the Warmth program has collected and cleaned thousands of coats to be given away to anybody in need. They’ve collected more coats this year than other in the 25 year history of the program. Scotch Cleaners is handing all those coats over to the Salvation Army, and the Salvation Army is handing out those coats for free today and tomorrow. They’ll be available at the I-70 Business Center. If you know a special group in need, contact the Salvation Army.
