The Kansas teen who wrote an insulting tweet about Governor Sam Brownback says she is not going to apologize for it.

18 year old Emma Sullivan of Fairway has been told by her high school principle that she has to write an apology to the governor. But Sullivan is refusing, saying she’s not sorry. She was taking part in a Youth In Government program last week in Topeka and as Brownback was addressing the crowd, she tweeted “Just made mean comments at gov. brownback.” After that, the governor’s office saw the tweet, and contacted the program. Sullivan got a scolding from the principal and ordered to write to Brownback. Now she’s become a media sensation, with over three thousand people following her on Twitter.
