19 registered sex offenders live in KS nursing homes
Sex offenders have been found living in Kansas nursing homes.
Nineteen registered sex offenders are living in nursing homes around the state, and the Wichita Eagle is reporting state officials are at a loss as to how to keep them out. The Kansas Department on Aging says the homes have no way of knowing when they are about to admit a registered offender. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says the offenders range in age from 43 to 82, and they’ve been convicted of crimes that include indecent exposure and rape.
