Some bad news for some Veterans day celebrations. KLWN’s Jill Nado reports.

Leavenworth County had been planning on adding Freedom Fest to its usual Veterans Day parade. The festival was supposed to feature some major country music artists and the Leavenworth Times says proceeds raised were going to benefit veteran’s groups. But now organizers say there isn’t enough money to stage Freedom Fest 2011, but they are hoping for another chance next year. The annual veteran’s Day parade will still be held, and it will still be one of the biggest and best in the country.
