It seems like there’s been a rash of thefts lately….someone has been stealing catalytic converters from the undersides of cars. Four people had theirs stolen when they were parked at the Lawrence Cancer Center. Someone else had their catalytic converter ripped off while they were parked at the Kohl’s Store on Iowa, and one more was taken from the Wal-Mart pakring lot—also on Iowa. If you’ve ever had to have a catalytic converter replaced—you know it’s expensive.
