The man charged with trying to bring a fake bomb through Kansas City International Airport reportedly has serious psychiatric problems. KLWN’s Jill Nado has that.
47 year old Anthony Falco Junior, a former New York City police officer, had been getting psychiatric help, but had recently gone off his medication…that from his mother. Prosecutors charged Falco with trying to bring a fake bomb through the airport on the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. The move shut down an airport terminal for nearly six hours on Sunday. The FBI says Falco tried to get through security with a package loaded with computer parts, batteries, wires and parts of digital cameras that could be used to make a bomb. While bomb experts went through the package, the FBI says Falco appeared to say Falco appeared to pray the words, "Father God America is going to go down." He’s being held pending a detention hearing on Thursday.
