The trial of the Kansas man accused of killing four family members continues today. KLWN’s Jill Nado has more.
More testimony is expected throughout the day today in the trial of James Kraig Kahler, and attorneys are supposed to deliver closing arguments on Thursday. A psychiatrist testified to his mental state yesterday, saying Kahler was so depressed at the time that it was hard for him to make rational decisions. He is charged with shooting his estranged wife, his two teenage daughters and his wife's grandmother in November 2009. Kahler’s son managed to escape, but not until after he reportedly witnessed his father shooting his mother.
