Following a 26-6 road victory at Evangel, the Baker Wildcat football team finished their regular season with a 10-1 record and a national ranking of 6th, along with the 2017 Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division title.
The NAIA has announced the 16 teams that will compete in the post-season playoffs. 12 of the teams are automatic qualifiers, and four teams are at-large selections.
According to officials with Baker Athletics, the first round of the playoffs for Baker will be a home game at Liston Stadium in Baldwin City. Baker will host the 12th-ranked Georgetown College of Georgetown, Kentucky. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 1:07pm.
