School Bond Issue Heading to Lawrence Voters



At Monday night's meeting of the USD 497 Board of Education, members voted to place a $92.5 million school bond issue on the upcoming ballot in Lawrence.

Voters will decide April 2, 2013 whether to approve the school bond issue. According to district officials, the no-tax-increase bond looks to improve school facilities, enhance technology districtwide, and expand career and technical education opportunities for students.
